Hello Girls! I am officially back from vacation.
It was an amazing 11 days, that went entirely too fast!
We went with my fiance's family and stayed in Kissimmee, Florida. We stayed in a huge house and got to drive around in 2011 cars! It was fun to pretend for a week and a half.
The best part of the trip was just escaping from reality! I hardly watched t.v. and only got on the internet 2 or 3 times. Oh, and my cell phone actually broke while I was down there...so I didn't even really talk to or text anyone back home while I was there either!
I read, laid by the pool, soaked up the sun, and just relaxed!
We didn't stay by the beach, but drove to three of them during our stay. My favorite was Honeymoon Beach, which we took a boat to our third day in Florida. It is a very natural, secluded beach, which I adored.
My fiance has three completely adorable neices, who I could not get enough of! Julianna is 9, Vienna is 3, and Ainsley is 2. They make me want my own little one! ;)
One evening, everyone went to Downtown Disney so the girls could get princess and rock star makeovers at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. This place is a little girl's dream! It was so neat seeing their faces when they saw themselves in the mirror!
My favorite quote from the trip has to be from Vienna. She and Ainsley were standing around, waiting on their older sister to get done with her makeover. Everyone that passed by them said something along the lines of "Oh, princesses! You look so pretty!". Well, Vienna just ate this up and looked over at her sister and exclaimed, "Ainsley, everybody LOVES us!". Entirely too cute!
Disney. Every child dreams of going there, right? I sure did. I went for the first time two years ago and it was not exactly what I had expected. It was fun, but would have been much more so if I were oh, say, ten years younger. This time around, it was down right my least favorite part of the trip. It was hot, hot, hot! And walking around for 8 hours makes my feet hurt :(
On one of our last days in Florida, my fiance got to do the Richard Petty Driving Experience. Let me tell you, I felt like a proud wife! He was so excited to be able to do this, and had the expression of a kid on Christmas morning during the entire thing!
